How much do you know about Napoleon? How much of what you know is actually a myth, and what is true? Historian and author Adam Zamoyski will tell you all about this fascinating person who has made himself and has been made a mythological hero more than a historical figure.

St. Patrick's Day

Ah, St. Patrick’s. That by now legendary holiday UCG celebrates like no other one. Drinks, food, Gaelic football, pub quiz, baby photos….it’s all there. And the first drink and dinner is free! Some 70 people already signed up and there are only a few spots left, but keep an eye on the sign up page (it will reopen in the next days) and claim your spot fast. In case you miss out on the dinner, you can always join the pub quiz and the after party.

Listen (The Shame Project X MuCG)

The Shame Project is back with a new event and this time, they’re collaborating with the one and only MuCG. It has the same basis as every other Shame Project (with volunteers sharing personal stories related to mental health) but at this edition there will be accompanying music too! Join this event for “a beautiful night of inspiring talks and music”.

Vunzige Deuntjes | Groningen

March 23, 23:00 - 05:00, at Simplon

Vunzige Deuntjes (‘Vulgair Tunes’) is a household name in R&B-land (and the like) and March 23 they will be back in G-City. Multiple rooms, various artists and a great crowd. What more do you need? Get down on it and dance until dawn to the best hip-hop, R&B and dancehall tunes.

Stories Of Hope Exhibition

March 14, 17:00-21:30 and March 15, 12:00-16:30 at Academie Minerva

This exhibition will tell the heroic stories of the Holocaust through the means of art. Besides art performances from artists from all over The Netherlands, you will also get to soak up knowledge about the Holocaust during the talks by historians.

Moving Futures Festival

March 16 and 17, 17:00-1:00 at the Grand Theatre

Do you love to dance? Or do you prefer neuropsychology? At this dance festival, they are combined. And, to top it off, UCG's very own Ferdinand and Ryan will be at the festival showing a piece they have been working on (a dance perhaps?).
